I sold the car to a woman who returned it angrily the next day.  Then I sold it to a Ft. Huachuca soldier for
around $1600 in October of '99 who later told me the engine seized the next day.
When I bought it, the car had a nice set of wheels on it and some very interesting machanical
"modifications."   The only modifications I did to the car were a later model, white hood and about three
inch thick bondo in the nose.
Bought in January of '99 for $1300 because it looked cool sitting in a vacany lot on speedway, this car
became my daily driver through my college days.  It leaked oil an was somewhat unreliable as it had been
majorly jerry rigged before I ever got it, but it was fun to drive and pretty.  The rear mounted battery would
fall over and spill acid in the trunk, the highly "customized" throttle cable broke off once causing me to
drive home at idle, and hung wide open once causing me to see 8000rpms on a tach for the first time.
One night on my way to play basketball at the U of A rec center, I rear ended a civic who had crushed the
brakes to panic stop for a yellow light.  That pretty much killed the only thing the car had going for it.  It's
looks.
