I currently own and drive this car every single day.
As you can see this car is not stock anymore. Modifications done on this car involve most every area of
the vehicle. 19" Wheels with Pirelli tires, clear corner lenses, tinted windows, and Mystichrome paint. K&N
intake, lowering springs, cat-back exhaust, and NOS. CD MP3 player, 2 10" JL Audio subs, JL component
speakers, and a Sony amplifier. Along with TTR008, this car was painted by me in a one car garage. I
was able to paint both cars within a couple of weeks. Common question about this car: What color is it?
Mystichrome is described as "a bright, metallic topaz that transitions to cobalt blue, then to royal purple,
and finally into a deep onyx black.”-2003 Ford Press Release. Originally only a 1995 Mustang Saleen
shown at NACE and SEMA and then a few 1995 GT Convertables used as prototypes had the
mystichrome paint. In 1996 Ford produced 2,000 Mystichrome Mustang Cobra's. It was the first color-
changing paint ever put on a production vehicle. Ford again used this color in 2004 on Mustang Cobra's
which is what color code I borrowed it from.
Bought on October 31, 2003 from a dealership in Phoenix. TTR009 became my first vehicle purchased
from eBay, but of course not my last. It had a bit under 100,000 miles and was in very nice condition. It
was silver and everything was stock. I bought it while on leave from South Korea so I was only able to
drive it for about a month before leaving it under Paul's care. Not only did Paul care for TTR009 but he
was willing and able to put some of my money to good use on the car. I drove this car every time I came
home on leave, to include a trip to Las Vegas and in 2005 a trip across the country to it's current home in
upstate NY. Very reliable and very fun to own in all aspects. Not bad for $2400.
